NURSERY PRACTITIONER-BROMSGROVE- EARLY YEARS- PAY: £12.71-13.68- FULL TIME AND PART TIME ROLES AVAILABLE-ASAP

The Role:

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will work closely with the nursery team to support children in their early years development. You will be working with children in a nurturing environment, supporting their learning, play, and overall wellbeing.

You may be working with small groups, helping to create engaging activities that promote development across all areas of the EYFS framework.

Some children may require additional support, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), where you will help ensure they feel safe, included, and able to thrive.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 2/3 Childcare qualification
  • Previous experience working with children in an early years setting (preferred)
  • A compassionate, patient, and resilient attitude
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents
  • A genuine passion for supporting early childhood development
  • A DBS on the update service

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children in daily nursery activities, including play, learning, and routines
  • Support children with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties or other needs
  • Encourage positive engagement, curiosity, and participation in activities
  • Assist with personal care where required
  • Help create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
  • Collaborate with nursery staff and parents to ensure consistent support and care
  • Promote safeguarding and wellbeing at all times
