Nursery Manager

Pioneer People are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our dedicated team in West Brom. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed individual to step into a leadership role and make a meaningful impact in early years education.

You must have:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior nursery role or management
• NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Childcare and Education (or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Proven understanding of safeguarding procedures and the ability to act as a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Current DBS on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
• Paediatric First Aid Certificate (essential)
• A commitment to high standards of care, teaching, and compliance

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage, and support the nursery team to provide exceptional care and learning experiences for children
• Ensure the nursery operates in line with Ofsted regulations and EYFS standards
• Oversee the planning and delivery of a rich and stimulating curriculum
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and hygiene across the setting
• Build strong, professional relationships with children, families, and staff
• Monitor staff performance, support CPD, and lead by example
• Manage day-to-day operations including staffing, budgets, and compliance
